I skipped school today 'cause of the
Pelancaran 1 Malaysia in stadium yesterday.
Was so tired after that function.
3p6 and 3p9 were compulsory to attend.
But i went anyway since Seline had to go,
just to get the cert and RM10 xD
Reached school at 7pm.
Many areas started to have traffic jam dy.
Waited a long time for the buses to arrive
as they were also caught in the jam.
We took more than 15 minutes to reach i think?
And stadium was so so crowded with
sea of buses and people.
We had to walk in as the buses
had to be parked outside the stadium.
And we were very lucky to find seats
'cause by the time we reached
the stadium was packed with people.
It was then reported in the newspaper that
50,000 people attended this thing?
Before the VIPs came, the emcee
asked us to rehearse the shouting of
'1Malaysia' and also the waving of
Jalur Gemilang.
Lols.
Then, we were really bored there so we had
to find things to keep ourselves occupied.
Soon it started.
The prime minister Mr Najib went around
the track in a jeep along with the other ministers.
Then we sang Negaraku with oomph and
penuh semangat patriotik xD
After that was the 1Malaysia song
which most of us don't know.
The funniest part was the ikrar
where a commander (i don't remember
was it some other pangkat?) led us.
He shouted until his voice broke.
Then me and banana LaughOutLoud! xD
We got away with the prime minister's
speech when we went jalan-jalan cari makan.
But the tents were so packed we only ended up
with keropok pisang and 100plus.
And all the people we saw were Malays la.
1 Malaysia?
I think the only Chinese and Indian
were the students.
At 10.30pm, our teachers asked us to leave
as it would be very jam after that.
So didn't have chance to watch stbb perform.
But instead we wasted almost an hour
along the street waiting for the
damn bus driver who parked his bus there
and went 'yum cha' with his kaki.
All of us were so tired waiting.
By the time we managed to contact
the driver, stbb went back dy.
Should have spend the time inside watching
performance instead of waiting and doing nothing.
